Heflin, Alabama
About Happy Hill Baptist Church
A community of believers rooted in God's Word, committed to one another, and sent into the world with the Gospel.
Our Story
Faithful Since Our Founding
Happy Hill Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of the Heflin, Alabama community for generations. Founded on the conviction that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, our church has gathered week after week to worship, learn, and grow together in faith.
Through the years, God has been faithful — sustaining this congregation through seasons of growth and change, always drawing people to Himself through the preaching of the Gospel. We are grateful for every family and individual He has brought to this hill.
Today, Happy Hill Baptist Church continues that legacy — a multigenerational family of believers who love God, love each other, and seek to make disciples right here in Cleburne County and beyond.
Our Mission
Loving God. Loving People. Making Disciples.
Everything we do flows from this calling. We gather to worship and be equipped. We scatter to serve and share. We invite others to join us on the journey of following Jesus.
What We Believe
Our Core Beliefs
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God — our sole rule for faith and practice.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — a free gift received, not earned.
The Church
We believe the local church is God's primary instrument for making disciples, and that every believer is called to be an active part of a local body.
Eternity
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people — the saved to eternal life with God, and the lost to eternal separation from Him.
